How many extensions do you need?

Measure the span your tires cross when entering and leaving the driveway, including turns. Each center section adds 4 feet along the curb.

The standard kit already includes one center section and two end sections. The quantities above are additional center sections.

If you already have extensions, add 4 feet to your current span for each new section. Confirm curb fit before choosing the final width.

Smooth Curb additional center piece extension for wider driveways

The blue section shows one additional center extension in a 16-foot system. The other sections are shown for context and are sold separately.

Wider coverage. The same curb profile.

This extension connects within the Smooth Curb system. It increases side-to-side coverage along the curb; it does not increase the ramp's height or front-to-back depth.

Smooth Curb is designed for rolled curbs. Check the curb rise, available front-to-back space, and the point where your vehicle scrapes. An extension does not change a separate crest farther up the driveway.

  • Existing ramp: confirm you have the Smooth Curb system. Compatibility with other brands is not established.
  • Tire paths: include both entry and exit paths when measuring coverage.
  • Curves or uneven ground: send photos to our team for help assessing the layout.
  • Drainage: allow gutter water to pass through the channel beneath the connected ramp.

Add the section between the ends

Lay out the system with the extra center section between the end pieces. Follow the Smooth Curb installation guide for the underside connections, tightening, and final placement.

Plan for lifting the heavy rubber sections with help. Disconnect sections before repositioning the system, and check that the drainage channel is clear once the ramp is in place.

Before you order

Does this purchase include the complete ramp?

No. Each quantity is one additional four-foot center section. For a new installation, order the standard three-section kit as well.

Can I use it with a different brand of ramp?

This section is intended for the Smooth Curb system. We have not established compatibility with other brands. Contact our team if you are unsure which system you own.

Does adding sections make the ramp taller?

No. Each extension adds four feet along the curb. The height and front-to-back profile remain the same.

Where do you ship extensions?

Free shipping is available to the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, DC. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other U.S. territories.

What if I need to return an extension?

Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. Approved returns carry a 30% restocking fee, and return shipping is your responsibility. Review the condition, packaging, and accessory requirements in the return policy before ordering.
