Will it fit your driveway?

Smooth Curb is designed for rolled curbs: a rounded or sloping transition from the street gutter into your driveway.

  1. Check the profile. Measure curb rise and available front-to-back space at several points.
  2. Follow your tires. Measure the area crossed when entering and leaving, including turns.
  3. Locate the scrape. A ramp at the gutter does not change a separate crest farther up the driveway.

Match the ramp to the entrance

Rolled or rounded curb: the intended profile

Smooth Curb is designed for the rounded or sloping curb-and-gutter transition at a driveway. Compare the actual profile, rise and available space with the ramp before ordering.

Vertical curb: a different geometry

A sharp, upright step is not the rolled-curb profile this system is designed around. Do not assume the 3-inch ramp height makes it suitable for a 3-inch vertical curb. Get a fit assessment or consider a ramp designed for that shape.

Scraping at a crest farther up the driveway

A ramp placed at the street gutter does not change a separate ridge, hump or garage threshold farther along your route. Locate the contact point before choosing a solution.

Plan your ramp coverage

Measure the width along the curb that your tires cross, including turns when entering and leaving. The standard kit covers 12 feet; each separately sold center extension adds 4 feet.

Common setups: 12 feet = one kit; 16 feet = one kit and one extension; 20 feet = one kit and two extensions.

Your kit and extensions

Start with one 12-foot kit and add 4-foot center sections to reach the required coverage. Extensions are sold separately.

This calculates coverage along the curb only. It does not determine curb fit, vehicle clearance or permission to place a ramp. Extensions keep the same height and depth. Allow for turning tire paths and confirm the complete layout fits the available space.

Connect. Position. Check fit.

Two people can usually install the system in less than 15 minutes. Plan for lifting the heavy sections together.

  1. Lay out the sections along the gutter.
  2. Turn them over and connect the supplied bolts and nuts using the outside holes.
  3. Secure the connections, then carefully turn the ramp back and align it with the curb.

Connect adjacent sections through the outside holes using the included bolts and nuts.

Drainage and maintenance

The hollow center channel provides a path for gutter water beneath the ramp. Keep it and the surrounding gutter clear of leaves and sediment. Disconnect sections before moving the system for cleaning.

A few things to know before ordering

Curved curb or unusual driveway?

Connected sections can accommodate some curvature by adjusting the connecting bolts. For pronounced curves, vertical curbs, uneven ground, or very low vehicles, ask our team about fit before ordering.

Shipping, returns, and warranty

Free shipping covers the lower 48 states and Washington, DC. Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories are excluded. Expedited shipping is not currently available.

Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to discuss a return. Approved returns carry a 30% restocking fee and customer-paid return shipping, subject to the original-condition and packaging requirements in our return policy. A 3-year limited warranty is included; contact us for details.

Do I need permission to place a ramp?

Check applicable requirements with your municipality, HOA, or property owner, especially for shared or public space. A removable ramp does not automatically establish permission for placement.

    Ramps work great! However, they were delivered in partially open packaging. The bolts and nuts were not packaged adequately. The packaging broke open and 2 of the nuts were missing.
